The small peaceful Tōma town is not much known for touristic attractions, but area lately attracts people who would like to start their nature-iving and it is forming a lively community with life-oriented corners, such as fresh bakery, cute tiny cafe, public spa center where locals visit and gather.

Also the Kurumina-no-niwa where we enjoy daily walking and nordic skiing in winter time is right next to us welcoming guests into relaxed forests bathing.
Fully, and holistically you may enjoy “the lfe” here as locals with us.

  • Pizza House Cocopeli

    The owner couple of Siesta Cocopeli had started all their jouney from here with this restaurant, back in 2001.
    Since then the heartwarmful dining menu, experience and atmosphere have been loved by visitors from near or far.

  • Boulangerie Mawarimichi

    Freshly prepared bakes and breads are just 5 minutes drive away from Siesta Cocopeli.

  • Cafe Pinecone

    This is a tiny yet cozy cafe where you can have a nice coffee break and get useful advice and supports about outdoor activities from the owner.

    After 30 minutes on foot to the view point, the spectacular view of town Tōma and Asahikawa city in distance await you at the observatory deck. Without mentioning, the sunset from here is mesmerizing.

  • Tōma Limestone Cave

    Once upon a time, people here blieved the existence of dragon and enshrine it in the cave which is about 135 meters deep inside. You feel perfectly cool and chilly atomosphere inside during the summer.
